REACHING OUR GOALS
Zero Waste is a goal that is ethical, economical, efficient and visionary to guide people in changing their lifestyles and practices in an attempt to emulate sustainable natural cycles where all discarded materials are designed to become resources for others' to use.
Most recently Los Bagels Co. embarked on a zero waste project, which challenged the entire production and team work experience. Small steps and procedures have been implemented to help reduce waste from landfill. Tracking progress and educating the staff has resulted in 90% diversion out of landfill, Reducing our waste to zero through smart sourcing, diversion, and outsourcing partners to help navigate our post consumer waste.

Los Bagels' is constantly striving to reach our Zero Waste goals by designing and managing our processes to systematically avoid or eliminate the volume of toxicity of waste and materials, and by conserving and recovering all resources without burning or burying them.
Completely implementing Zero Waste will eliminate all discharges to land, water or air that are a threat to planetary, human, animal or plant health.
We try to source and support local farmers as much as possible when in season.
